Services and Fees
I am both a fiction and nonfiction editor. Here are descriptions of some of my services:
Book Editor—When editing your manuscript, I attend to its smallest details, as well as holistic, thematic issues, and everything in between. I line edit, write margin notes, and an editorial letter. I discuss with you what "is there" and what "isn't there." We speak about the needs of your book and I attend to them.
Developmental Editor—I work with you on developing your ideas and/or your narrative. I help you through the process of writing your book. We can talk regularly or intermittently, as need be.
Ghostwriter—I take your ideas and develop them into a book.
Coach—I help you through creative roadblocks and the particular types of procrastination that impede your writing practice.
Private Sessions—We meet one-on-one to work on your poetry, fiction, or nonfiction.
Book Proposal—I write for you a fully developed book proposal and sample chapter.
Writing Workshops—Stay tuned.

Fees are contingent on your specific project. Generally, I will give you a flat fee before I begin, so you know exactly what you'll be paying. I also have an hourly fee.
